About Us

The Education Champions League is an Incorporated Trustee that hosts the August Meeting, the ECL Quiz and Debate Competitions for secondary schools and other conversations that help the intellectual well-being of the community at large.

Our mission is to bridge the gaps in quality interpersonal communication and nation building by promoting the culture of reading and writing among our young ones and all generations.

The aims and objectives of the Trustee are as stated below.

Our mission is to revive and advance the reading culture among young people using academic debates, arts and culture, leadership programs and educational empowerment schemes.

Our Vision

“Empowering the next generation through the power of literacy, the Education Champions League (ECL) envisions a Nigeria where every youth embraces the joy of reading, nurtures intellectual curiosity, and thrives academically. We aspire to cultivate a society where literacy is not only valued but celebrated, paving the way for enlightened leaders, innovative thinkers, and lifelong learners.”

Our Objectives

Promote and encourage a reading culture

Organize quizzes, book readings, and reviews, as well as revitalize existing libraries and build new ones.

Provide scholarships, grants and other incentives to advance knowledge, education, and literacy within and outside Nigeria

Associate with any other institution, society, or association that shares similar objectives and cooperate with individuals or groups to further such objectives

Mentor and provide guidance to the youths

Conduct studies on various social issues, gather data, and conduct research

Raise awareness on the above-mentioned issues by disseminating information among the general public

Take necessary measures and provide services or assistance, including the establishment of information centers, educational, research, and training institutions, etc., for the betterment of society, particularly for the aforementioned class of persons and others
